Free Museum Admissions
If you have a library card, you may be able to score free admission to several popular museums. This a great way to stay cool and get in a little education this summer.
The Detroit Museum Adventure Pass (MAP) program returns for a fifth and final year from May 25, 2012 through September 3, 2012.
MAP is now an online program. Find out what discoveries await you by going to: http://eventkeeper.com/pages/tln/. Pass availability, checkout and printing can all be executed there. MAP offers were generously provided by the participating organizations and may vary by organization. Be sure to check the “Pass Details” at http://eventkeeper.com/pages/tln/ and the web site of the attraction to see what each attraction offers via the MAP program.
Passes are for one-time use and are not transferable. The museum will collect the pass when you visit. Special exhibits may not be covered, and other exclusions may apply.
There are great offerings including the Purple Rose Theater, Full Impact Theater, DIA, the Edsel Ford House and so much more!
