DFC Academy Open House

DFC Academy Open House

If you are interested in joining the DFC Academy’s cooperative program for homeschoolers in the Metro Detroit area of Northville, mark your calendar for February 3rd or February 10th, at 1pm.

D.F.C. A.C.A.D.E.M.Y. is a homeschool educational cooperative in a Christian context.  It is not a day off for parents and children; it is a homeschool away from home.  Our teacher, administrators and other workers are all parent volunteers who run the program, hands-on.  One parent from each family is expected to teach or volunteer in classes all day on Thursdays, as well as fulfill additional duties as assigned.  Click here for Requirements for Parents. Every family who joins DFC A.C.A.D.E.M.Y. commits to attend and participate every Thursday for the whole school year.  Whenever possible, instructors have training and/or experience in the subject areas in which they teach.  All instructors have a belief in the Saving Power of Jesus Christ.

When attending an open house, you will receive a tour of the facilities and a brief overview of what is expected of both parents and students.

Before attending an open house, please sign up for either February 3 orFebruary 10 by sending via email the day that you choose, your full name, a contact phone number, and the names and ages of children via email.

For more information, please visit the DFC Academy’s website.
