Homeschool Girl Scout Troop

Homeschooled-Girl-Scouts Troop 21250 is looking for girls 10 yrs/5th grade and up to join their troop and join in the fun and adventure.

Girl Scouts builds many skills – leadership, decision making, teamwork, and even cooking and cleaning!

Girls work together to earn badges and plan activities such as holiday parties and camping.

Through the cookie and nut sales, girls are able to earn money to go on trips that most of them would not be able to go on otherwise. This year’s trip was canoeing on the Au Sable River and visiting the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes in Traverse City. Last year’s trip included Mackinaw Island, Tahquamenon Falls, and the Soo Locks Boat Tour.

Troop 21250 meets the first, second, and fourth Wednesday of each month in Dearborn Heights.

There is an  informational parent meeting on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 10:00am in Dearborn Heights.

If you would like to attend the parent meeting or would like more information, please contact either Mary Gedlen at or Brenda Trombley at
