Saturday Fun at Quilt Art: International Expressions

Saturday Fun at Quilt Art: International Expressions

Isn’t it wonderful when fun, education, and creativity mix effortlessly? The upcoming Quilt Art: International Expressions exhibit at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House provides such a mix! Gather the kids and head out to see amazingly creative, colorful quilts created by a diverse collection of artists from eight different countries. Participate in captivating workshops too! You’ll find plenty to do and see for people of all ages, including more than 30 quilts by 22 artists.

In particular, you won’t want to miss the event planned for March 10. This is the perfect day to set out with your children, as they can participate in the Quilting for Children workshop. The workshop is scheduled to run from 10 AM to 12 noon and allow children to learn more about quilting and make a fun project they can take home with them. But all the fun doesn’t have to end once the workshop is over. Make a day of it, and have lunch with the kids at the delicious Cotswold Cafe.

Visit the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House website to learn more about the exhibit, the Quilting for Children workshop, and all of the other exciting events.
