Festival Friday at the Michigan Renaissance Festival

Festival Friday has been an annual tradition at the Festival for over thirty years. The Festival is committed to making this day a valuable educational experience and an enjoyable time for learning! Students of all ages have a chance to do more than study history in a book; Festival Friday gives them a chance to live it!
This year, Festival Friday, will be held on September 14th with special pricing for school groups and homeschoolers. Some of what you can expect includes:
The pageantry of a 16th Century village awaits! From peasants to royalty, the villagers of Hollygrove provide guests with a day to remember! The realm is filled with amazingly talented artisans, musicians and actors. Visitors are advised to bring their appetites and sample our fresh baked goods, soup in a bread
bowl, Scotch eggs, apple dumplings, our famous turkey legs and more!
Crafts: Merchants will be demonstrating a variety of crafts such as glass blowing, print making and candle making. Other crafts include handmade apparel and jewelry, face painting and henna, pottery, leatherwork, sculpture and musical instruments!
Other attractions: Magical Children’s Realm with FREE activities including crafts, petting zoo, pie eating contests and more! Don’t miss the thrilling rides and games!
