Queen of Hearts Formal Dinner and Dance

The Queen of Hearts Dance, hosted by The Dance Project is a formal swing dance with dinner for students 7th grade and up, including formal waltz instruction by dance professionals. Live music, DJ and photography will be provided for the evening. A limited number of tickets are available for $20/person through 3/9/13. Tickets may be purchased online this year through PayPal.

Schedule of Events:
5:00 Arrival/Tickets/Photographs & DJ Music
6:00 Dinner buffet begins
7:00 Live Band/Casual swing instruction
7:30 Formal Waltz Instruction including acceptance for the dance, declining the dance, frame, posture, line of dance, traveling, motion floor management motion.
8:30 Live Band
9:00 DJ Music

Proceeds benefit The Dance Project, Inc., a local, non-profit group with a mission of “changing the culture by promoting positive dancing” to area schools.

Please note: This event is not exclusive to homeschoolers, but the Dance Project dances are very popular with homeschoolers.

Lindsey Clair

Lindsey Clair is a homeschooling mother of three daughters. She is married to her best friend Ron since 1999! Lindsey possesses a degree in Child Development and just completed her BS degree in business marketing with a social media concentration. She is currently a professional blogger and social media manager. Lindsey is also a trained musician in the areas of piano and vocals. Her hobbies include reading, shopping, blogging, and hanging out with family and friends.
