Fun Gleaners Opportunity – Warren

As a homeschooling family, are you searching for community service projects for your kids?  There is an awesome opportunity that you may be interested in utilizing in your homeschool this summer.

Kids will have the opportunity to serve  for just one hour at the Warren Gleaners Food Bank (directions below) on July19th. Lunch will be provided afterward for everyone. If you are available, please consider this fun opportunity to help those in need. Gleaners would like 20 kids to participate in an upcoming event on July 19th. It is with Clear Channels Radio Stations who will be volunteering and broadcasting live at Warren Gleaners. The intent is to have kids participate, however, they are allowing up to 10 moms to participate as well.
If you are interested, contact Vicki Drohan at vldrohan@nullsbcglobal.net. She will provide you with a photo release form.  It is highly likely that your child could be interviewed.  It is a wonderful opportunity  to shine and let the listening audience know how blessed we are, and what a privilege it is to help our hungry neighbors.
Gleaners is located way back behind the Salvation Army building.
