Earth Day Festival-Ann Arbor

Do you have Earth Day plans for your homeschool in 2014?  There is always educational activities and events out there relating to this day and there is one in particular I would like to share with you.    The Leslie Science and Nature Center would like to invite all homeschooling families to their Earth Day Festival located in Ann Arbor on Sunday, April 27, 2014 – 12:00pm to 4:00pm.

This free, family-friendly event features displays from 40 local environmental, non-profit, and governmental organizations.  There will be live animal demonstrations, hands-on activities, guided hikes, face painting, live entertainment, green building & commuting technologies, energy topics, water awareness, sustainable agriculture, and more. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes representing plants and animals for the All Species Parade.

This Earth Day Festival is free to everyone of all ages.  Mark your calendars!

Lindsey Clair

Lindsey Clair is a homeschooling mother of three daughters. She is married to her best friend Ron since 1999! Lindsey possesses a degree in Child Development and just completed her BS degree in business marketing with a social media concentration.
