Rochester Fire Department Cadet Program

Rochester Fire Department Cadet Program

Do you have a homeschool student interested in public service?  The Rochester Fire Department has an Explorer/Cadet program for students 14-21 years of age (male or female).  They  must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher, signed parental approval, no negative contact with Law Enforcement or school officials, and pass a sports physical.

Their mission is to further the knowledge and understanding of its members through training and by providing insight into all phases of the fire service.  There is the opportunity to train with firefighters, EMT’s, and Paramedics. Basic firefighting and EMS skills including CPR will be learned.

Please contact Christ Coe or John Shepp with the Rochester Fire Department at 248-651-4470 or John.Shepp.IV@gmail.com to express interest.
