If your homeschooler is a fan of Legos, don’t miss out on the Flint Institute of Art School LEGO® Competition.

It will be on Saturday, February 22nd.  Here are more details regarding this event:

Flint Art School LEGO Competition
1:00p-3:00p . Lego® Sculpture Submission
4:00p . Awards Ceremony

Scholarships and Memberships Awarded in four (4) divisions:
. Grades K-2
. Grades 3-5
. Grades 6-8
. Grades 9-12

Awards in the following categories:
. Most Creative
. Most Technically Challenging
. People’s Choice

.Entries must be an original creation designed and completed by the
. Participants must use their OWN LEGO® or LEGO®-type brick.
. LEGO® designs or “out-of- the-box” kits, copies from internet sources,
or printed publications are not acceptable entries and will NOT be
eligible for entry.
. One entry per person.
. Work submitted must be on a foundation no larger than 12 inches x 12
inches and no more than 18 inches in height.
. Works must be submitted between 1:00p-3:00p at the FIA, February 22,
. Jurors will review works from 3:15-3:50, followed by an award ceremony at
. Entries must be taken home following the award ceremony.
. Awarded designs may be exhibited in the Bishop Gallery for one week.

Lindsey Clair

Lindsey Clair is a homeschooling mother of three daughters. She is married to her best friend Ron since 1999! Lindsey possesses a degree in Child Development and just completed her BS degree in business marketing with a social media concentration. She is currently a professional blogger and social media manager. Lindsey is also a trained musician in the areas of piano and vocals. Her hobbies include reading, shopping, blogging, and hanging out with family and friends.
