Do you have questions about homeschooling through high school?  This open forum event (offered by SHARE), is the place to get your questions answered so mark your calendars:

When? April 24th @7:00 pm- 9:00 pm

Where? Oak Pointe Milford Church 1250 South Hill Road · Milford, MI · 48381

Please RSVP to Traci at Tralapan@nullgmail.com.

They are asking that everyone brings a snack or dessert to share.

This homeschool forum will be held by a panel of 6 homeschool moms who have or are currently homeschooling a high school student.  They will share their experiences and expertise with tips as well as answer any questions you may have.  They will also be sharing things they would have done differently as well.  Have a pen and notebook handy!

“The panel will contain moms who have homeschooled in a variety of ways and have knowledge of: dual enrollment, online resources, college searches, transcripts, high school curriculum, testing requirements, AP vs. Community College vs. CLEP vs. SAT II options, documentation needed for applying to colleges, what colleges are seeking, athletics, etc.  The questions you have are not limited to these topics! “

Here is a basic format of the evening for the homeschooling forum:

  • Please submit all questions prior to Traci at Tralapan@nullgmail.com.
  • Panel members will be introduced and submitted questions will be asked with a Q & A session at the end.
  • When the forum is over, there will be a chance to have snacks and desserts while mingling.  If you have a personal question for a specific panel mom, you will have this time to do so.

The homeschooling through high school panel members will also share resources that they have found to be beneficial.  A hand out will be made available with the list of these particular resources.
