Homeschool Connections will be offering the IOWA standardized test for grades 3-8 at the Faith Church, 160 W. Hamlin Rd., Rochester Hills MI 48307. Wendy Kapusta, a favorite Homeschool Connections teacher, will be administering the test.
Grades 3-8 will test Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, May 19th, 20th and 21st from 9:00 – 12:00 noon. The cost of the test and administration is $75.
If you would like to have your student tested, please complete the online form HERE, and send in your payment to:
P.O. Box 198
Lake Orion, MI 48361
Checks should be made out to Homeschool Connections. All forms and checks must be received by April 15th in order to ensure timely delivery of the tests.
On the day of testing, please be on time as they will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Your child will need to bring at least two pencils (no. 2 pencils are required to fill out the test forms), a snack, and something non-electronic to occupy themselves quietly if they finish their test before others (book to read, paper to draw on…).
Recommendation is to test for the grade students are completing this year.
Parents do not have to stay on the premises, but are welcome to, but must remain quiet and stay downstairs. Young children must be with parent, quiet and occupied at all times if in the building.
They do want to have one to two parents to help supervise during testing each day. If you are interested, please let them know.
