Maple Syruping Tours: Kensington Metropark Farm Center
Have you ever wondered about the process of maple sugaring? Students will discover how unique maple sugaring is to this region and why. This program includes tapping a maple tree, watching the process of turning sap into syrup, and a tour of a Native American sugaring camp. Students will achieve a higher level of understanding and respect toward the environment and the contributions of Native American peoples.
