Homeschooling Works 1st Annual Conference Seeking Volunteers-Farmington Hills


The first annual Homeschooling Works Conference is coming on Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21stat the William Costick Activities Center in Farmington Hills.

There are many exciting changes this year with additional volunteer positions to fill.  Here is the event schedule:

Friday – Used Book Sale 3-7 pm

Key Note Speaker 7:30 – 9:30 pm

Saturday – Exhibit Hall hours 9:30 – 5:00

Seminars 9:00 – 3:00 pm

They offer free admission to the conference as well as early entry to the used book sale for volunteering your time.

Admission: $15 for both days / $20 for a married couple for both days

$8 to shop Exhibit floor on Saturday from 2-5 pm.

3 volunteer hours will provide free entry for both days;  2 volunteer hours for Saturday shopping on the Exhibit floor.

You can also share time with your husband to achieve 3 hours for one free entry.  Parking attendant is a great opportunity for dads to be involved during the event.

9 – 11 am includes heavy lifting/floor tasks

12 – 7 pm includes Exhibitor setup

2 – 7 pm registration table attendants

Lindsey Clair is a homeschooling mother of three daughters. She is married to her best friend Ron since 1999! Lindsey possesses a degree in Child Development and just completed her BS degree in business marketing with a social media concentration. She is currently a professional blogger and social media manager. Lindsey is also a trained musician in the areas of piano and vocals. Her hobbies include reading, shopping, blogging, and hanging out with family and friends.
