Theater Camp Opportunities for the Summer

The Uncovered Theater Company is partnering with Rochester College to put on their annual Rochester Shakespeare Festival.

They have some awesome show and camp opportunities for the summer that you may be interested in learning about.

In the month of July (13th-24th), they will be offering their Shakespeare Kids camp for ages 10-18.  This camp is a great chance for students interested in theater to come together and learn Shakespeare in a fun and educational way.  They play all kinds of games meant to help build theater skills and at the end of the week, they perform Shakespeare’s Two Gentlemen of Verona.

At the beginning of August (4th-7th), they are offering a music theater workshop taught by Uncovered’s Meredith Giffard.  In this workshop, students will get to work on songs from musical theater’s greatest shows.  At the end of the workshop, students will perform a showcase displaying all they’ve learned.  Uncovered will also be putting on two shows in the months of June and July: Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and Stephen Schwartz’ Godspell.

For more information about show-times and prices visit Uncovered’s website or like them on Facebook at: 2015 Rochester Shakespeare Festival!
