Wayne State Homeschool Music Project 2015-October

This class is designed for students beginning an instrument or exploring a second instrument. Students can choose from the following string instruments: flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone.

Students will participate in a 45-minute group lesson Fridays from 11:00 am-12:45pm, October 2 – November 13. 

Student pick-up and drop-off will occur at Room 1319 of Old Main, located at 4841 Cass Avenue (corner of Cass and Warren Avenue). 

Parents will not be participating in the class, but are welcome to enjoy their lounge area on the second floor of Old Main during class time. 

Participants will need to provide their own instruments and purchase Belwin 21rst Century Band Method for their chosen woodwind or brass instrument (Instrumental rentals and the book are available through local music stores). WSU can not provide books or instruments.

Lindsey Clair

Lindsey Clair is a homeschooling mother of three daughters. She is married to her best friend Ron where he is currently a Solutions Engagement Supervisor for the State of Michigan at UPS. Lindsey possesses a degree in Child Development and just completed her BS degree in business marketing with a social media concentration. She is currently a professional blogger and freelance writer for multiple sites and enjoys working from home while homeschooling her children. Lindsey is also a musician. She currently plays the piano and flute and sings. She was formerly the children's director at her parent's church as well as on the praise and worship team. Lindsey's hobbies include reading, shopping, blogging, and hanging out with family and friends.
