Acting Out Kids Community Theatre Winter 2017 Schedule
Acting Out Kids Community Theatre is a youth theatre that is conveniently located in Clawson and was created by kids and is run by kids (with adult supervision and guidance).
They offer plays, films, TV shows, local commercials, classes, workshops, field trips, community events, and drop-in events every 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. Starting in January, they will also be offering an after school drama program at Schalm and Kenwood Elementary Schools.
Their monthly TV show (shown on YouTube and three local cable channels), acting/musical theatre classes, and drop-in events start the week of January 9th. Advance sign up is required for the monthly TV show and for the acting/musical theatre classes. For the drop-in events, new kids are always welcome, but parents must come in and register their child. Auditions for their upcoming production of “The Unusual Suspects” will be on January 14th. Everyone that signs up and auditions will get a part, but space is limited to 30 kids (ages 8-18), so advance sign up for auditions is required.
