What to expect:
Auditions will not be held in the traditional sense of getting before a panel and performing a monologue. The director has decided to take a more ensemble approach. They will be doing a mix of scenes from the script as well as fun theater games so that everyone can get to know each other.
They have selected two exciting shows to start with:
The first being “Dial “M” for Murder” by Frederick Knott. This suspenseful show is a murder mystery about how a husband “Tony Wendice” plans to have his wife “Margot Wendice” murdered. When the murderer Tony hires winds up being murdered himself, Tony must take matters into his own hands. He then plans to have his wife framed for the murder and almost succeeds, until an inspector from Scotland Yard and a bright young man who has fallen in love with Margot, discover the shocking truth.
The second show is titled “Sleepy Hollow: The Lost Chapter” by Jeremy Sony. The show picks up right after the disappearance of Ichabod, the town of sleepy hollows previous schoolmaster. The children of the town are determined to find their former schoolmaster until a new school teacher by the name of Abigail Seymour arrives and is set on teaching, rather than ghost chasing. That is until she has a run-in with the legendary headless horseman himself. This show combines some of the classic characters in the original book by Washington Irving “The legend of Sleepy Hollow” while also introducing some new ones along the way.
Cost of participation: To participate in these two shows, the cost will be $65. This includes participation in the shows as well as scripts. Each actor will need to supply their own costume(s) for the performance. If you would like to pay an additional charge of $30, T.E.A.M Theater will supply your costume for you.
Minimum of $65 for performance and script. Maximum of $95 for performance, script, and costume.
