Polish Your Own Petoskey Stone February 22, 2020-Madison Heights

Michigan’s state stone is the Petoskey stone, a fossil colonial coral. Using different sandpaper grits and some ‘elbow grease,’ participants will choose and polish a stone to take home while learning about other local fossils and minerals. All materials provided. $8/person. Preregistration with payment required. Call 248-858-0916 weekdays or Red Oaks Nature Center on Saturdays.

Lindsey Clair

Lindsey Clair is a homeschooling mother of three daughters. She is married to her best friend Ron where he is currently a Solutions Engagement Supervisor for the State of Michigan at UPS. Lindsey possesses a degree in Child Development and just completed her BS degree in business marketing with a social media concentration. She is currently a professional blogger and freelance writer for multiple sites and enjoys working from home while homeschooling her children. Lindsey is also a musician. She currently plays the piano and flute and sings. She was formerly the children's director at her parent's church as well as on the praise and worship team.
