Exotic Animal Day March 7, 2020-Shelby Township

“Purchase tickets today for the upcoming annual Exotic Animal Day program. Both programs will be the same. The program includes smaller animals such as small lizards, snakes, and other friendly critters as well as larger species that not frequently seen up close. Also featured are nocturnal animal presentations with each program. Throughout the day, you can “meet and greet” some crazy new friends, ask questions, and learn the dos and don’ts of exotic pet ownership.
Noted naturalist and educator Randy Baker from Naturalist Endeavors and local nocturnal animal specialist Amanda Felk from the Night Nature Alliance will be the guest presenters for this program. They will be bringing in some exciting new native and nonnative animals that you definitely wouldn’t regularly see at the nature center. Cameras are always welcome, but please refrain from flash photography when requested. The approximate program length is 75-90 minutes. Space is limited so pre-register today by calling (586) 323-2478
