Outdoor Art Exploration September 19, 2020-Ferndale
Picasso once said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up”.
This class is designed to encourage your child to explore art techniques through a variety of mark-making tools and materials. Each student will be given their own individual materials to use, as well as take-home extensions for you to further explore.
This class is geared towards children ages 3-5 (siblings are welcome).

Instructor – Juliana Schewe
Juliana has an extensive background in working with children in the arts. Aside from being a Public School Art Teacher in the state of Michigan and holding two master’s degrees in Art Education and Fine Arts, she has worked as a docent at the Art Gallery of Windsor, teaching studio classes and helped initiate the toddler program. She has worked with Learning Through the Arts, through the Royal Conservatory of Music in Ontario, teaching integrated arts programs throughout the elementary school grades. She is an advocate for the arts and the process of creative problem solving for children of all ages.
