4-H Discovery Day in Davisburg

The purpose of this day is to show how 4-H members are involved in educational projects all year long, and how the county fair supports and connects the work of young people through participation in the Oakland County Fair. The public does get a real feel of what 4-H clubs are all about.

Homeschooling Highschool Workshop in Lincoln Park

The Downriver Chrisitan Co-op is sponsoring High School Palooza to be held August 18th at Friendship Baptist Church. It will consist of a day long seminar with break out sessions for parents homeschooling junior high or high school students. Sessions will be led by knowledgeable professionals and will be geared towards helping homeschool educators make wise and excellent decisions and plans for their high school students. 

Homeschool Summer Musical Theatre Class

Oakland Homeschool Music, Inc. will be holding Musical Theater classes this summer, culminating in a production of “Hello Dolly.” This summer theater experience is open to all home educated students in grades 6 – 12 in the Metro Detroit area.

Homeschool Tennis Lessons in Royal Oak

Luv All Tennis will be offering tennis classes for homeschooled students in the Metro Detroit Area. Classes begin May 11th in Royal Oak and run for 6 weeks.
